MAC released a new collection this past Thursday called Très Cheek. This collection is a smaller "side launch" along with two bigger launches, In Extra Dimension and Reel Sexy. Très Cheek sees the release of six shades of powder blush. These blushes will be made permanent in Asia in both regular and pan refill formats, but are limited edition (in regular format only) everywhere else, including North America. Each blush comes in regular black packaging, contains a total of 6 g of product, and retails for $24.

Lovecloud is a medium brightened yellow-toned pink with a sheen in a Satin finish. This is a new and limited edition shade (in North America). It has a really soft, silky texture. It goes on smoothly and evenly, and has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It blends out and builds up effortlessly without being too powdery. It is warmer than Pink Swoon, and brighter and less shimmery than Dainty Mineralize Blush.

Immortal Flower is a light-medium brightened peach-coral with a slight sheen in a Satin finish. This is a new and limited edition shade (in North America). It has a really soft, silky texture. It goes on smoothly and evenly, and has medium pigmentation and semi-opaque colour pay-off. It blends out and builds up effortlessly without being too powdery. Even though it has a Satin finish, I felt that it looked more like a Matte. It is more coral than Peaches, more peach and less frosted than Style, less pink than Pinch O' Peach, and softer than Melba.

Modern Mandarin is a medium-dark muted tangerine orange with a sheen in a Satin finish. This is a new and limited edition shade (in North America). It has a really soft, silky texture. It goes on smoothly and evenly, and has intense pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It blends out and builds up effortlessly without being too powdery. Because of the intensity of the shade, it is much easier to over-do, so I would use a light hand and apply this shade in layers. There's nothing really similar to this shade in MAC's permanent range; it is much softer and less red than Devil (PRO only), and much brighter and more orange than Pinch Me.

Full of Joy is a light cool-toned lilac-pink with a sheen in a Frost finish. This is a new and limited edition shade (in North America). It has a really soft, silky texture. It goes on smoothly and evenly, and has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It blends out and builds up effortlessly without being too powdery. Even though it has a Frost finish, I felt that it looked more like a Satin. There's nothing really similar to this in MAC's permanent range; it is much more lilac than Well Dressed.

Pink Tea is a medium neutral pink that leans almost berry pink with a sheen in a Satin finish. This is a new and limited edition shade (in North America). It has a soft texture, but there is an underlying dryness. It goes on smoothly and evenly, and has light-medium pigmentation and semi-sheer to semi-opaque colour pay-off. It blends out and builds up fairly well without being too powdery. It is more pink than Mocha, and lighter and less intense than Desert Rose.

Peony Petal is a medium brightened cool-toned cotton candy pink with a slight sheen in a Satin finish. It has a really soft, silky texture. It goes on smoothly and evenly, and has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It blends out and builds up effortlessly without being too powdery. Because of the intensity of the shade, it is much easier to over-do, so I would use a light hand and apply this shade in layers. Even though it has a Satin finish, I felt that it looked more like a Matte. There is nothing really similar to this in MAC's permanent range; it is slightly darker and much brighter than Pink Swoon.

Like any blush fiend, I have been super-excited for this launch for a while now (that's why I saved it for last!). These shades add such amazing pops of colour for Spring, and they just go on so beautifully and look so amazing on skin! I feel like MAC's permanent range would really benefit from the addition of these, but alas, they are limited edition. The only colour I would maybe leave behind (you know, if I really had to pick) is Pink Tea, which ended up being quite a bit more sheer than the other five shades — though still super pretty, and I can see it working well as an everyday shade for lighter skintones (it won't show up well, if at all, on darker skintones). These blushes will undoubtedly sell well — three of the shades are completely sold out online, and many counters and stores will be sold out of the majority of their stock by now (and it's only been two days!). If you're interested in any of these shades (and you should be, 'cause they're awesome), you need to go to your local counter/store as soon as possible! I know people that bought two or three of the same shade, so you might even want to call your closest MAC location and see if they can hold any for you.
