The first thing you'll notice about Jeffree Star's eyeshadow palettes is the size: It is huge. Each pan of eyeshadow has a whopping 2.52 grams of product, which means it is nearly double the average eyeshadow size (about 1.3 to 1.5 grams). The second thing you'll notice is that the placement of colours in Androgyny are far more cohesive than in Beauty Killer; they make sense and they flow more naturally together. The first row has what Jeffree Star calls "neutrals"; they're a little more vivid than your typical everyday neutrals, but still widely flattering and wearable. The second row includes pops of sultry colours that aren't too bright but add more flair and fun to eye looks than plain neutrals. Again, all widely flattering on all complexions, which is one thing I really appreciate about Jeffree Star's shade selection — he always includes colours that will look good on every skintone. The third thing you'll notice is the outstanding textures of these shadows. Every single shade is incredibly pigmented, smooth, and blendable. What you see in the pan is what you get in execution. There are a myriad of really gorgeous looks that you can create from this, from everyday neutral to warm sunset looks to a peacock blue smoky eye. You can even create subtle, office-appropriate looks with it. Unlike Beauty Killer, Androgyny is great for someone who is used to neutrals but wants to add some colour to their looks. It has a good mix of warm and cool tones that will help anyone get out of their neutral comfort zone without getting too intimidated.
