A couple weeks ago, MAC launched their annual summer collection called Fruity Juicy: "Shake up the summer with a frootilicious collection of sun-kissed succulence. Take a sweet vacation of tropical colour for lips and eyes." This collection features a total of 22 products, 16 of which are new and limited edition, four are re-promotes and limited edition, and two are permanent. Fruity Juicy sees the launch of three new and limited edition Eyeshadow x 6 Palettes. Fruit a La La is described as "golden peach perfection." It is housed in a sleek, thin rectangular mirrored compact in special edition packaging featuring a tropical fruit and floral print. Each Eyeshadow x 6 Palette contains a total of 3 grams of product, and retails for $42. This is an online exclusive item.

Big Kahuna, Retrospeck, Soft Brown, Electric Mandarin, All's Rosy, and Land of Delights

Big Kahuna is a light-medium warm yellow gold in a Frost finish. It is a new and limited edition shade. It has a soft, finely-milled texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It can be layered and blended out easily. It is lighter than Goldmine, darker and brighter than Lemon Tart (Warm Neutral x 15), and brighter and warmer than Gorgeous Gold.
Retrospeck is a light-medium neutral-warm dirty gold with silver sparkle in a Lustre finish. It is a permanent shade. It has a soft, finely-milled texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It can be layered and blended out easily. It is darker and more gold than Shroom, cooler and more sparkly than Ricepaper, and warmer and more gold than French Clay (Cool Neutral x 15).
Soft Brown is a medium warm peachy brown in a Matte finish. It is a permanent shade. It has a soft, finely-milled texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It can be layered and blended out easily. It is lighter than Texture, lighter and more muted than Saddle, and warmer and more peach than Cork.
Electric Mandarin is a medium warm vibrant coral-orange in a Satin finish. It is a re-promoted shade from 2016's Chris Chang collection and is limited edition. It has a soft, finely-milled texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It can be layered and blended out easily. It is slightly darker than Coral, more muted and more pinked than Rule, and darker and more matte than Paradisco.
All's Rosy is a medium-dark muted warm pinked berry in a Matte finish. This is a re-promoted shade from 2016's Nordstrom C'est Chic Eyeshadow x 15 Palette and is limited edition. It has a soft, finely-milled texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It can be layered and blended out easily. It is darker and more purple than Haux, warmer and brighter than Blackberry, and darker and more matte than Star Violet.
Land of Delights is a dark warm reddened plum in a Satin finish. This is a new and limited edition shade. It has a soft, finely-milled texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It can be layered and blended out easily. It is brighter than Sketch, more purple than Deep Damson, and lighter and more purple than I'm Into It.

I gotta say, this is the best palette from Fruity Juicy in terms of texture, variety of finishes, shade range, and blendability. It is a predominantly warm palette like Fruit a La La, but the gradation of the shades (from light to dark) and the ratio of shimmery to matte finishes work really well together to create cohesive looks easily. It is also the least intimidating because the shades here are generally more muted and more widely flattering across skin tones, and the brightest shade (Electric Mandarin) is easily blendable to make it more wearable. Every single shade is smooth like butter and applies as such — even Retrospeck is softer and smoother than the original, which is grittier with more fall out. Even with the darker plum shades, Oh My Banana is still distinctly summery, and to me, it actually makes for a more well-rounded palette. It's like the sultrier version of Fruit a La La; I wish that MAC had come out with a palette that included all 12 of these colours because it would be the ultimate tropical sunset-inspired palette. As it is, Oh My Banana is an online exclusive product, so you won't be able to swatch it in person. I would check your stash to see if you have some of the shades already (two shades are re-promotes, and two shades are permanent), but otherwise, I think this is the perfect summer palette and one of the best pre-made ones that MAC has released.
