Went out for dinner with Chelsea at Milestones. I hadn't been there in years, and the food was as good as I remember it being (we shared the Coconut Calamari to start, I had the Brie & Mushroom Burger as my main, and then we shared the Ganache Torte for dessert), but the service was absolutely terrible. We had to wait 15 minutes just for our server to take our drink orders, and then he left and didn't come back for another 10 to take our food orders. We do not need 25 minutes to decide what to eat. And in the hour we were there, our server didn't check up on us even once on his own; we had to flag him down several times just to get condiments, drink refills, a dessert menu, and the bill. And it was so fucking dark in there that we could barely read our menus (indeed, the couple at the table next to us had to turn on their phone flashlight to read theirs). Definitely not returning. There are just too many other chain restaurants that do everything better and at better prices.
